ALEXANDRA QUAST SURGENER, PSYD, HSPP
Dr. Quast is a licensed clinical psychologist, specializing in pediatric neuropsychology. She completed her internship at St. Vincent Hospital-Indianapolis in neuropsychology and health psychology. Dr. Quast completed her two-year APPCN affiliated postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at Indiana University School of Medicine.
Dr. Quast has extensive training in evaluation of children and adolescents with neurological and neurodevelopmental disorders. She has experience working with individuals presenting with a variety of medical and developmental concerns including epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, genetic disorders, cancer, spina bifida, hydrocephalus, teratogen exposures, stroke, prematurity and/or low birth weight, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and learning concerns. Dr. Quast works with patients and their families to ensure comprehensive evaluation of neurocognitive, emotional, social, and behavioral factors contributing to presenting concerns. She provides timely feedback and collaborates with families, academic teams, physicians, and other treating providers to develop best treatment and educational plans for patients.
